Kayaker Father's Day Card

Materials Used:
Dimensions use:
  • Card Base: 4.25" by 5.5"
  • Sunset background: 4.25" by 5.5"

The inspiration of this card was my love of kayaking with my family. My dad and I both love to kayak together. So, for father's day, I wanted to create my card around kayaking. I created the silhouette of the kayakers in inkscape using the image that I found on shutterstock. I used acrylic paint to paint the background. I used a painting sunset tutorial that I found on YouTube. This tutorial was by learn to paint with creatful art. You can watch the tutorial here. I hope that this card will inspire you to create your own sunset background.

X-Ray Markers

I made these x-ray markers for a friend. I love how you can depict the things that you love at work. This helps create a better day when things are rough at work.

Tool Box Father's Day Card

This tool box card is found on Cricut Design Space. It is in the "Crazy Cute Cards" cartridge on design space. This card is free if you are a Cricut Access member. I am sharing my file with you  where I changed the inside of the card to have a pull out sentiment. Feel free to use this file and modify it to your liking. I included the extra side panels of the screwdriver and wrench in case you needed and extra one like I did. Hope you enjoy making this card as much as I did. https://design.cricut.com/#/design/151748763

Materials needed:
For the dimension of the card, please open the link for cricut design space. It has everything set up and ready to hit make it. I did make it smaller that what it normally would be because I do not own 12" by 24" sized paper. So, I did size it down to fit a 12" by 12" paper. https://design.cricut.com/#/design/151748763

Deleting Nodes in Inkscape

This video will teach you how I modified the class of 2019 to create my graduation card. I recommend downloading inkscape from inscape.org. This is a free program that let's you convert jpeg or png clipart images into an svg, cutting image. This is more advanced than my first video. So I recommend watching the first video before you watch this one. The image that I used can be found here  http://clipart-library.com/clipart/585938.htm
